The pre-seed and seed valuations are coming down too (TWIF 1/28)

Hello Fintech Friends,
Do you believe in angels?
We hope so, because our editors Julie VerHage-Greenberg and Helen Femi Williams got to sit down with Monica Murthy, FinTech Sales & Partnerships Lead at Alloy, and Jenny Johnston, Investor at Better Tomorrow Ventures, to talk about all things angel investing. Give it a listen here.
For new readers, our show Beyond Two Percent analyzes the critical questions, issues, and dynamics that affect people differently by gender - and the intersection of those dynamics with finance.

7 months later, it's time for an update on the state of the early-stage fintech market.
(All based on observations as GP of @thefintechfund and not meant to be categorical.) https://t.co/SDs3oeIgez
I’m experiencing a counter-cyclical feeling about our (tech) industry as of late. It’s one of the most exciting times to be alive. AI, health/longevity, energy, and yes… decentralization/crypto/FinTech are going to advance humanity in incredible ways in the decade to come.
