M&A - Fintech
  • Kraken acquired Magna, a token management platform handling vesting and distributions for crypto teams, ahead of its planned IPO. 
  • Admiral Group agreed to acquire Flock, a digital insurance provider for commercial vehicle fleets, in an £80 million (~$109 million) deal.
  • BTG Pactual, a Brazilian investment bank, acquired a 48% stake in MeuTudo, a Brazilian credit platform.
  • Stripe acquihired the team behind PartyDAO, the crypto social investing protocol, to expand its crypto initiatives.
  • Boerse Stuttgart Digital and Tradias plan to merge to create a fully regulated crypto infrastructure business in Germany covering brokerage, custody, and staking. Expected close: H2 2026.
  • BridgeWise acquired Context Analytics, a data processing firm, to build its AI-powered investment intelligence platform.
  • Array acquired Chimney to expand its embedded finance solutions specializing in credit, health, identity security, digital finance and more. 
  • iCapital agreed to acquire PassThrough, a provider of investor onboarding solutions and financial compliance infrastructure used by general partners in private funds. 
  • Wrisk acquired Atto, a real-time financial intelligence platform, to strengthen its embedded insurance offerings.
  • CUBE acquired 4CRis, a regtech specialising in agentic AI-powered compliance, to enhance its end-to-end compliance solutions.

M&A - Banks and Financial Institutions
  • Nuveen agreed to acquire Schroders for £9.9 billion (~$13.5 billion), creating a combined asset manager with over $2 trillion in AUM. Expected to close in Q4 2026.
  • Access Bank UK agreed to acquire Zempler Bank, an SME-focused UK challenger bank.
  • Gallagher brought Woodruff Sawyer fully under the Gallagher brand and absorbed the business into its operations following its previously announced $1.2 billion acquisition.
