  • OKX launched OKX Pay in Singapore, enabling USDT and USDC stablecoin payments at GrabPay merchants with instant SGD settlement.
  • Ant International launched AI SHIELD, an AI risk toolkit for financial services.
  • Airwallex added Danish krone, Norwegian krone and Swedish krona and Polish zloty into its EU card payment offering.
  • Welab and Google formed an AI partnership to improve digital banking efficiency in Asia.

  • The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) opened a digital yuan international operations centre in Shanghai.
  • China approved Japan's Mizuho to launch its wholly-owned securities firm.
