IPOs & SPACs
  • SWB plans to go public via an $8.1 billion SPAC merger with Soulpower Acquisition Corp, offering stablecoin and banking services.

M&A - Fintech
  • Coinbase agreed to acquire Vector, an on-chain trading platform built on Solana. The deal expands asset availability and improves Coinbase’s consumer experience of trading assets through the DEX trading integration.
  • BKN301 acquired Planky, an AI-driven financial analytics and open-banking specialist, while topping up its Series B with a £10 million credit facility to strengthen its fintech infrastructure stack across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
  • Paxos acquired Fordefi, whose MPC wallet platform is used by nearly 300 institutions, to build a unified custody infrastructure layer for the on-chain economy.
  • USIO acquired PostCredit, an expense platform for film and entertainment productions, expanding its payment and card issuing solutions.
  • FE fundinfo acquired Finscape, a specialist in investment distribution intelligence, to improve visibility into UK fund flows and give asset managers deeper insights into their distribution channels.
  • Cegid acquired Shine, an accounting and administrative platform, to create a fully integrated cloud-native and AI-driven financial hub for SMBs and accounting professionals in Europe.
  • Green Dot agrees to $1.1B breakup deal, in which Smith Ventures will acquire the company’s non-fintech operations for $690 million in cash, while CommerceOne will acquire Green Dot Bank, including its related assets and operations.

Venture Financing
  • Pennylane is in talks to raise $200 million, valuing the financial management and accounting solutions provider at $4.25 billion.
  • SAPI raised $80 million to scale its payment-linked financing platform, which enables payment providers and marketplaces to offer embedded credit to small businesses.
  • Model ML raised $75 million in Series A to expand its newly-launched AI workflow automation platform for financial services across San Francisco, Hong Kong, New York, and London.
  • Pay.com.au raised $53 million to expand its B2B payments and rewards platform to the U.S.
  • Stuut raised $29.5 million in Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz to automate accounts receivable (AR) processes using AI.
  • Tidalwave raised $22 million in Series A to expand its agentic AI-powered mortgage point-of-sale (POS) platform in the U.S and make the mortgage process more efficient.
  • Modern Life raised $20 million in Series A to build AI tools that help financial advisors offer and manage life insurance products.
  • Wealthy raised ₹130 crore (~$14.5 million) to expand its wealth-management services for independent financial advisors to new cities in India.
  • Dost raised £6 million (~$7.9 million) in Series A to scale its financial automation and accounting platform.
  • AxiTrust raised ₹23.5 crore (~$2.8 million) in a seed round led by General Catalyst to expand its AI-driven transaction verification platform in India.
  • FinReach Solutions raised ₹21.9–22 crore (~$2.5 million) to expand its credit-guarantee facilitation platform for micro and small businesses that often struggle to qualify for traditional loans in India.
  • Revolut completed a major share sale, in which existing employees and early shareholders were able to sell shares to new investors, resulting in a $75 billion valuation.
  • Parfin received an investment from Tether to support institutional USDT adoption Latin America and strengthen regional digital asset and settlement infrastructure.
  • MoonPay Ventures announces strategic investment in Zengo Wallet and secured exclusivity as its payments provider for crypto buy/sell flows.

Debt Financing
  • Aviva secured a $50 million credit facility from Community Investment Management ahead of its Series A to use natural-language processing that converts conversations into structured data, enabling the company to offer small-sized loans to the unbanked in Mexico.
  • BKN301 Group raised €32 million (~$37 million) through a combination of a recent €21 million Series B and a credit facility to scale its AI-driven fintech infrastructure platform across Europe.

Venture Funds
  • Pontaq Ventures is closing its ₹700 crore (~US $85–95 million) maiden fund focused on startups in deep-tech areas, including finance.
