π Former CEO of Celsius Network withdrew $10m just weeks before the lender froze customer accounts. Chief Strategy Officer Daniel Leon has also resigned amidst reports he and CTO Nuke Goldstein also withdrew $32m in May.

Fintech Infrastructure π§
πͺπΊ Adyen and Tink are partnering to allow Adyenβs customers to use Tinkβs payment initiation services, building on their existing use of the Account Check service.
Payments π°
πͺπΊ The European Payments Council has submitted its proposal to standardise the QR codes for mobile credit transfers.
π¬π§ Barclaycard has said that 73% of retailers have seen a decline in online payment fraud in the 200 days since SCA came into force in the UK.
π¬π§ Visa and Mastercard are facing a class action lawsuit in the UK from businesses charged MIF fees for corporate cards
π¬π§ Trade bodies representing over 240,000 businesses in the UK are demanding the end to the βΒ£5bn stealth taxβ paid to the card networks.
π The Federal Reserve is ending network exclusivity on debit cards, now requiring all debit card issuers to enable merchants to pick from at least two unaffiliated card networks from July 2023 and includes online payments and other CNP transactions.

π The Retirement Savings Modernization Act has been introduced to expand the asset classes that citizens can add to their retirement accounts to include alternative assets and digital assets.

π Senator Warren released a report heavily criticising Zelle for its rampant fraud problems and lack of bank action.
