Hello Fintech Friends,
Business Insider just released their list of the 49 promising fintechs; it was great to see a lot of friendly companies that made it this year, as well as Fintech Fund portco's Cascading AI, Coast, Confido, and TransFi. (h/t Julie VG)
We're excited to announce another fintech event - our Lagos Fintech Happy Hour next Friday:

Speaking of, we have a lot of great fintech fundraises profiled below, but my favorite this week was Scale, an African woman-founded card issuer, which raised a pre-seed (no relationship).
We also had a great guest writeup this week on stablecoins, and whether they'll provide the new rails to build BaaS products:

And last but not least, we are excited to announce our first ever Nashville Fintech Happy Hour: we're partnering with Raise Financial, First Bank and Project Fintech for a fun night of networking, food and drinks. All ticket proceeds will benefit the Re: Generate Fund, which focuses on addressing the critical early funding gap for founders of color.

Please find another week of fintech financing events below.
