Venture firms drew big numbers this week. Among the headliners: Index Ventures raised $2 billion across three funds, Highland Europe closed a €1.1 billion ($1.27 billion) growth fund, and Jump Capital secured $350 million for AI and cybersecurity investments.

Meanwhile, alternative-investment platform CAIS led with a $170 million Series D at a valuation of more than $2 billion. AI-powered lettings platform Dwelly raised $95 million in equity, while procurement and payments startup Freehand secured $75 million to develop AI agents for managing supply-chain spending. Insurtech, fund accounting, commercial real estate and healthcare benefits startups also announced new rounds.

Debt markets also brought in a substantial pool of capital. Iwoca secured a £250 million ($337 million) facility, Avant obtained $300 million in asset-based financing and PEX raised $160 million in debt and equity.

BVNK, a stablecoin payments infrastructure provider for businesses, reported that transaction volume through its embedded wallets increased 263-fold in 2025, with payment service providers and fintechs accounting for 75% of the total.

  • Dwelly, an AI-powered residential lettings platform, raised $95 million in equity.

  • Enterprise procurement and payments startup Freehand raised $75 million in seed funding to scale its AI agents for managing supply-chain spending.

  • Insurtech Ominimo raised $22.5 million in Series B funding at a $1.6 billion valuation to expand across Europe and enter the U.S.

  • Fund accounting platform LemonEdge raised $21 million in Series A funding led by Blackstone Innovations Investments to accelerate product development and expand in the U.S. and Europe.

  • Commercial real estate deal platform Henry AI raised $16.5 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-powered transaction and due-diligence products.

  • Healthcare benefits platform Healia raised $14 million in Series A funding to expand a product that helps dual-income families coordinate employer health coverage.

  • Private credit technology startup Ellis emerged from stealth with more than $10 million in seed funding to build an AI-native operating platform for private credit firms.

  • Dow Protocol, a platform for tokenizing real-world assets, raised $9 million in seed funding.

  • Decentralized AI data network Perceptron raised $6.5 million in strategic funding to expand its data-sourcing and contributor network.

  • Birdai Labs, an onchain trading infrastructure provider, raised $4 million in seed funding.

  • Curant.ai, an AI-powered insurance claims platform, raised $3.1 million in seed funding.

  • Olomon, a financial recordkeeping platform for households and their advisers, raised $2.6 million in pre-seed funding.

  • Personal finance platform GRO Solutions raised $600,000 in pre-seed funding to expand its AI-powered money-management tools for individuals and families.

  • Indian insurtech NeuralKart raised ₹2.35 crore, or approximately $246,000, in seed funding to develop AI tools for insurance and industrial-safety workflows.

  • Employer health benefits platform Gravie raised an undisclosed round led by General Atlantic, bringing its total capital raised to $463 million.

  • Digital asset insurer Soter Insure completed an undisclosed first close of a Series B round expected to bring its total funding to $23.5 million, more than 500 bitcoin and more than 2,000 ether.

  • Securities finance infrastructure provider Provable Markets raised an undisclosed Series B round led by Charles Schwab with participation from DTCC.

  • Private credit technology provider Oxane Partners received an undisclosed growth investment from TA Associates to expand its platform and AI capabilities.

  • Card-on-file payments platform Strivve raised an undisclosed round to expand its technology across more financial institutions and online merchants.

  • Open-banking advertising platform Sientia received an undisclosed investment from Salt Edge to expand its transaction-linked loyalty and rewards products.

  • Pakistani savings platform Oraan raised undisclosed funding to expand its gold savings product and enter new markets.

  • Veterinary insurance payments startup PawPay received an undisclosed investment from members of VANE to expand its point-of-care payment platform.

Debt Financing

  • Iwoca, a small-business lender, secured a £250 million ($337 million) debt facility.

  • Consumer lending platform Avant secured a $300 million asset-based financing facility to expand its credit platform and credit card portfolio.

  • Corporate card and spend-management platform PEX secured $160 million in debt and equity financing (not broken down) to expand its payments, credit and finance-automation products.

  • Dwelly, an AI-powered residential lettings platform, confirmed a $75 million debt facility.

  • UK consumer lender Plend secured a credit facility of up to £50 million ($67.4 million) to refinance existing funding and support new loan originations.

  • Fundworks, a working-capital provider for small businesses, extended and upsized its investment-grade corporate notes to $40 million.
