This week, Valley National Bancorp agreed to buy Bluevine for approximately $340 million, which would bring in $2.1 billion in deposits and a larger small-business presence. Meanwhile, Stripe agreed to acquire small-business financing provider Parafin, and Capitolis struck a $200 million deal for eSecLending.

In IPO news, Mynt, which operates GCash, priced an $843.7 million offering, while Airtel Money priced a $700 million listing. Both were valued at about $7 billion. MNT-Halan announced plans for an Egyptian IPO, and Zilch began lining up banks for a potential London listing.

Among banks and financial institutions, Peoples Bank agreed to acquire Capital Bank for $728 million in stock. Two larger deals were completed: Zurich’s $10.7 billion acquisition of Beazley and SoftBank’s $3.1 billion purchase of DigitalBridge.
