Hi {{first name | fintech friend}},

When we started This Week in Fintech in 2019, our goal was simple:

Bring clarity, depth, and community to the rapidly evolving world of fintech.

For context, fintech was very different in 2019. That was the year the Apple Card launched. Facebook unveiled the original stablecoin, Libra. Charles Schwab and E*TRADE eliminated commissions to compete with Robinhood. And $35 billion was the magic number: it was how much FIS acquired Worldpay for AND what Stripe was valued at after a fundraise.…. Our industry has come a long way in those seven short years.

Over the years, thanks to your readership, feedback, and support, what began as a weekly newsletter has grown into a global media platform spanning breaking news, print, analysis, video, podcasts, and live events.

TWIF grew from a readerbase of hundreds to 175,000+ current subscribers.

And today, we are thrilled to take the next major step in our journey.

We are officially evolving from This Week in Fintech into The Financial News Network (FNN), brought to you at our new home: thefnn.com.

What’s Changing?

  • A New Name & Home: You’ll see our new logo, visual branding, and domain (thefnn.com) across our website, emails, and social channels.

  • Expanded Coverage: As The Financial News Network, we are broadening our scope to bring you deeper reporting, live broadcasting, and comprehensive coverage across the intersection of modern finance and technology.

  • An A+ News Team: We’ve brought on a team with deep news experience to bring you better coverage of fintech in real-time. Larry DiTore has joined us as our new Editor In Chief with 20+ years of experience from Bloomberg and The Block. Roland Bodenham joins us from Money20/20 and Flywheel to lead video production. Amethyst Martinez of USA Today joins the team to spearhead our breaking news reporting, and Madison Neri to lead our partnerships and ad sales.

What Stays the Same?

  • Our Core Focus: The standard of quality, commitment to fintech journalism, and editorial independence that you count on remain unchanged.

  • Your Subscription: You don't need to take any action. Your newsletter subscription transfers automatically, and over time, emails will arrive from our new domain (thefnn.com).

Thank You for Being Part of the Journey

This transition marks a huge milestone for our team, and we couldn't have built this platform without our incredible community of readers, founders, operators, and investors.

Head over to thefnn.com to check out the new look, join our WhatsApp and Slack communities and stay tuned for exciting new programming and features coming your way very soon.

Welcome to the next chapter!
