Hello Fintech Friends,
Today’s newsletter is brought to you by our friends at Increase.
Moove had this week’s largest funding round, raising $250 million in Series C funding at a $2.1 billion valuation. The Nigeria-founded company began by financing vehicles for ride-hailing drivers and now aims to expand its newer autonomous-fleet operations and infrastructure business.
Among more traditional fintechs, Decade raised an unusually large $85 million seed round, while 10x Banking secured £40 million ($53.8 million) and Faye raised $50 million. Yellow Card raised $40 million, while JPYC’s extended Series B reached ¥6 billion ($38 million).
Investment managers unveiled several larger vehicles. G Squared closed a $2.3 billion fund, Bridge and Luminarx launched a $500 million direct-lending fund, and White Star Capital closed a C$350 million ($250 million) fund. Robinhood Ventures Fund II also filed to raise up to $200 million through a U.S. IPO.
